I did my 4-month internship in the Laboratoire d'Océanographie de Villefranche, a marine research laboratory. The project I was involved in investigated the effect of anthropogenic activities on the capacity of Posidonia oceanica, a seagrass species that is endemic to the Mediterranean Sea, and its community (all animals, plants and microorganisms that live within P. oceanica meadows) to sequester carbon.
