I have been living in Colombia with some breaks since 2019. When I first arrived here, I felt like a prodigal son returning home after many years. It was such a beautiful feeling! I even remember thinking that most likely, in a past life (I began to believe it!), I was Colombian—or at least from Latin America or the Caribbean. A strange, incredible, and very warm feeling...
Over the past few years my love for Colombia has only grown and deepened—now I can hardly imagine life without it. Colombia is a country of enchanting beauty, endless diversity, and striking contrasts, where people are truly happy. It simply pulls you into its big, warm embrace and never lets go. Get ready—the same will probably happen to you. You will definitely come back here, or maybe even stay to live.

In this way—by communicating and participating in person (not in passing, or just from a bus window)—we will get to know this special country much more deeply.
