The 80's and 90's were a dream in Portland. In fact it was so nice that people made shows about a place where young people go to retire and live in the 90's forever. I go back from time to time and it's still the case. Nothing changes. Same stores. Same People. Same air. Same energy. It's actually pretty amazing how Portland has managed to halt all progress and rest comfortably in its own recyclable, vegan, organically grown, local deposit. Sustainability truly at its finest.

"one day" is happening right now and it has been since "day one". A city frozen in time, resistant to change. Welcome to the never-ending sunset city where young people go to retire.
