This video is the speech by Mr Richard Thornley CBE MBA CEng FRAeS (President, Rills-Royce Japan Co.Ltd) under the theme of 'The Future of UK-Japan Defence Equipment Cooperation' at the conference on 'Rejuvenating UK-Japan Relations for the 21st Century', co-organized by SPF and RUSI.

The Sasakawa Peace Foundation and the Royal United Services Institute host a conference on 'Rejuvenating UK-Japan Relations for the 21st Century' on 30th September and 1st October 2013 in Tokyo. In addition to the keynote speeches by HRH The Duke of York and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, our conference speakers, including distinguished experts and practitioners from the UK, Japan and the US, had an active discussion about the future of Japan-UK security cooperation as well as its impact on the international security environment.
