Gears of War 5 has a full multiplayer suite that allows you to play against bots if you so desire. I've appreciated that about the series, which is why I don't mind investing in the Microsoft exclusive franchise. The games do have a different feel than Call of Duty and Battlefield so you have to keep that in mind when playing. Gears of War movement feels more weighted, the controls are different, and you can go into cover. And Gears of War is a third-person shooter.
