Fifth track on Sledgehammer Soul & Down Home Blues (AudioQuest, 1996). AllMusic described the album as “a master-class in sledgehammer soul and down-home electric blues.”

“Down in Mississippi” – Terry Evans
Recorded for the 1986 film Crossroads; Evans’s version features Ry Cooder on slide guitar.

“What You Want Me to Do” – Mighty Sam McClain
Appears on Give It Up to Love (1993). Rolling Stone called the album “the R&B comeback of the year,” and Stereophile later named it “Recording of the Month.”

“Hey Bartender” – Doug MacLeod
