Highbridge) impacting the legal duty of condominiums to address safety and security in condominiums, and (2) the recent tragedy in Georgia where an on-site condominium manager was shot to death by a resident who had unsuccessfully sued the condominium association.

The webinar discusses the gruesome facts of the Field v. Highbridge case which involved a double murder at a South Boston high rise condominium. The facts in the Field v. Highbridge case, while unique, suggest a possible trend in expansion of liability for condominium boards and their vendors. Ed and Sean tackle this case from two very different perspectives: lawyer and property manager. They bring their differing perspectives to the facts of the case, how the situation could have been prevented, the legal ramifications and how all parties can protect themselves going forward.
