The “You’ve Got Gear” trophy is a Silver-tier reward for mastery of Just Cause 3’s challenge system.
To unlock it, you need to achieve a perfect 5 out of 5 Gears in a single challenge — essentially completing the challenge with maximum efficiency and skill.

Refer to “All the Gears” for guidance on completing each challenge and achieving full Gears.

⚙️ Step-by-Step Guide

1️⃣ Unlock Challenges 🔓

Challenges are unlocked as you liberate settlements.

Access them from the Challenges Menu by pressing L2 in the map screen.

2️⃣ Select a Challenge 🏁

Pick a challenge that you are comfortable with — such as racing, stunt jumps, or combat challenges.

Some challenges may have easier locations or setups for earning all 5 Gears.

3️⃣ Aim for Maximum Performance 🎯

Each challenge measures specific objectives: time, accuracy, stunts, or kills.

Ensure you understand the criteria for each Gear (consult the “All the Gears” trophy guide).

4️⃣ Achieve 5 Gears ⚡

Complete all 5 objectives in the challenge.

If done successfully, the trophy “You’ve Got Gear” will unlock immediately after completing the challenge.
