Hi,
This is part 1 of the immersive base building tutorial. This series is meant for relatively new players. This is not a speed build, I'm going to take it slow, explain stuff along the way and show you how to deal with common issues that may occur. The goal of this series is to teach you how to build great looking bases instead of just showing you how to build one.
In this episode I will build the primary structure and decorate it. Later episodes will deal with thralls, pets, high level decorations, modding and ideas to expand.

This guide assumes that you're familiar with the interface, controls and basics of gameplay. If you're still completely new to the game and this guide is confusing then head to my complete beginner's guide which will get you up to speed.
