Different ball handling drills focus on different things. This drill focuses on ball control. Just like I stated in the video ball control is your ability to keep the basketball in your hand for a longer period of time. Also, it is the ability to move the ball without carrying it. For example: doing a two dribble move such as an in n out, around the back. You must have good ball control to be able to swing the ball from the in n out all the way around your back and blow by the defender.

The best basketball ball handling drills for better ball handling and more importantly ball control incorporate you working on keeping the ball in hand for a longer period of time and moving the ball. Someone once asked me, "what is the best basketball ball handling drill to do?" I really don't have one answer for that. To be honest, different ball handling drills focus on different things. There are 3 major things you want to focus on when working to improve your ball handling.

1. Improving your ball control
2. Improving your dribble speed/power
3. Adding to moves to your game

So I guess my answer would be that the best basketball ball handling drills are the ones that can incorporate all or at least 2 out of the 3 things listed above.
