we don’t talk about it often and I am not here to brag either, as religion is everyone’s personal and private matter and every individual will be accountable for their own deeds at the day of judgement. i will never judge anyone based on what they practice and how they choose to spend their lives (this disclaimer was needed lol).

but if this post makes even one of you establish their prayer on regular basis, then InshaAllah i might be getting the reward of spreading this message. i also want to mention this again (as i always say) that i am not perfect at all, i am human and i have flaws.

exactly one year from today (after coming back from our Turkiye trip), saad started praying tahajudd and also asked me if I could join him for that (I would only wake up for fajr prayer prior to that). after some days, I eventually started waking up 15/20 minutes before fajr and started praying tahajudd and trip was our tahajudd miracle honestly.

uring the entire process of changing our lifestyle and trying to establish prayers on timely manner, i also came across a video in which this person mentioned that if you are struggling with fard (obligatory) prayers then start with tahajudd because if you start with voluntary prayers then eventually your heart will want to pray the fard prayers too.
