Samara (самара) Russia. Samara Arena (самара арена) is in the District of Radiotsentr. The stadium is surrounded by residential development and good quality infrastructure. Construction officially began on July 21, 2014.

Concept design Samara Arena dominated by themes of space, as a tribute to the tradition of the region, and aerospace sectors. The stadium will be shaped resembling a glass dome. The basic structure of hi-tech metallic lighter than Struts Struts will provide cover at the top of the stands, which is 60 meters high. At dusk, the whole structure will be highlighted, emphasizing the expressive design of the stadium.

After Russia 2018, the stadium will be home to the FC Krylia Sovetov, a club that has made a number of appearances in European club competition.
