After begrudgingly paying $167 for a XK68 IR from SMSlaser, I dedicated some time to explore the LAM. However, my unit turned out to have some issues. Even if it had functioned flawlessly, I find the IR functionality lacking due to the absence of focus adjustment. This device reeks of a half-baked attempt to appeal to a larger part of the market, and needs to be redesigned to compete with the likes of a Somogear PEQ clone.
