The Cougars were locked in from the opening tip, holding Johnson to 35% shooting while hitting 65% from the field themselves. After building a huge first-half cushion, IU Kokomo absorbed Johnson’s second-half push and kept the margin in double digits the rest of the way to move to 4–2 on the season.

Joseph Annan Jr. – career-high 27 points, 10 rebounds (double-double). Patric Matson – career-best 26 points. Evan Kretz – 11 points, three triples, 6 boards. Jake McGraw – career-high 10 points off the bench.
