Strings blaze like lightning over the hills,
Drums roll like the voice of heaven.
The dust rises on the road—
Twelve have gone out,
Carrying fire in their hands.

[Verse 1]
When Jesus finished sending them,
He walked into the towns,
Not to rest,
But to plant the seeds of the Kingdom.
And from a prison’s shadow,
John’s voice still reached the Light:
"Are You the One?
Or should we wait for another?"

The blind see, the lame walk,
The lepers are cleansed,
