The day after Christmas, my father and I took a three day trip to North Central Arizona to capture action along BNSF's busy southern transcon, including an SD70ACe leader, rare on the line. Unfortunately, blizzard conditions in New Mexico shut down traffic on the line for the majority of the time that we were there, causing us to travel far and wide to find trains, including as far west as Kelso, California, on Cima Hill. Featured in this video are trains along the southern transcon, including a CREX leader, an ACe leader, GECX and BNSF Tier IV GEVO's, SD70MAC's, meets, Santa Fe painted SD40-2's and GP39-2's, as well as great action along the Cima subdivision!
