✨SF FERRY BUILDING TO BE RAISED 7 FEET✨

San Francisco's Port Authority and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have solicited community feedback regarding a draft plan for saving the city's shoreline, part of which could include the raising of San Francisco’s Ferry Building by 7 feet to account for sea-level rise. That plan is expected to be released early next year and the work (which could cost hundreds of millions if not over a billion dollars) likely wouldn’t commence for another decade.

The City can’t hide from rising sea levels, so its great that, along with efforts to combat climate change, measures are taken to preserve the beautiful landmarks that make this place so special.
