Another video ^^ Hope you guys are happy!

So a few uploads ago, I made a "Lullaby for a Prince" video about Sonic and Shadow. It was one of my favorite story works; I just found the song fit so perfectly in my own fan fiction.

Then I heard this.

This was basically my Meph&Silv version of that Lullaby for a Prince. It wasn't hard to imagine Silver and Mephiles relating to the song. The lyrics ... Amazingly matched. I don't have to put every word in here - You can just figure it out by watching the video :)

Allegory

In the former days of the Sol Kingdom, Silver and Blaze used to have happy homes. It was still at peace in the dimension, Mobians back then lived quietly under the empire.

Mephiles was one, part of the reign. He met Silver and tried to make friends with him, but the white psychic hedgehog thought he was just another creep. He looked down on Mephiles for the way he was, scary-like and all. No one seemed to care for the poor crystal hedgehog.

On the next few days, however, there was a sudden fire that bursted throughout the city. The Iblis had arrived.

Innocents perished in the flames that so consumed the land. Silver and Blaze tried to rescue everyone as much as they could, but they failed miserably. Mephiles wanted to help, so he gave Silver and Blaze a Chaos Emerald. But after that he was ignored.

An enchantment needed to be done to kill the monster. Silver tried to do it with the jewel Mephiles gave, but he was not accepted as a vessel. Blaze took the opportunity and she was banished. Before she could disappear, she told him to warn the other dimensions about the Iblis. Silver quickly obeyed and looked for Sonic & Shadow, knowing they were the protectors of their own worlds.

As expected, the Iblis attacked the nation. The three hedgehogs tried all they could to defeat it. But it would not give up and fall.

Then Mephiles stood up.

Silver gasped. He ran towards the dark hedgehog and told him not to do it, because he didn't want to lose another friend.

But Mephiles went to the Iblis anyway. As the fires surrounded him, he went into phase, creating an explosion that stopped the fury.

He was gone.

Silver grieved. It was only then he realized how much he actually appreciated Mephiles. He cursed at himself for not thinking of that earlier. Two of his friends were done.

Now he was alone in his world.
