How to Repair a Tweeter (PRV Audio TW700Ti, TW700Ti-CR and TW700Ti WHITE)

Use this quick tutorial to learn how to replace a damaged diaphragm in a PRV Audio Tweeter.

Diaphragms can get damaged, essentially, in two different ways:
1. The voice coil can burn. This can happen due to excessive power, or due to distortion at any power level.
2. The diaphragm can shatter. This can happen due to either distortion or when the high pass filter is too low. Either one can cause the diaphragm to move excessively, causing it to get in contact with the phase plug.

Needed Replacement Diaphragm and Repair Tools:

• Knife
• Screwdriver
• 3 mm Allen Wrench
• Tape or Post-it Note
• Repair Glue**
