Best Extra Fine Nib in a Fountain Pen: Esterbrook JR Palm Green in EF | New Pen Day|

As most who follow my journey know, I enjoy my flexes and tend to go for broader-line nibs. However, when asked what nib I’d like for an Esterbrook pen, I wanted to push my nib experimentation a bit and go for an Extra-Fine nib. I am glad I did.

This EF fountain pen nib is a sweet writer. I have tried it on different journals and papers (Hobonichi, Tomoe River Paper, and Esterbrook’s notebooks), and it has performed really well. There was minimal feathering and bleeding on the Esterbrook notebooks, none on others.
