STRYMON IRIDIUM + BOSS ES-5 + RAATO GUITARS | Pedalboard Rundown

This video is kinda mismatch as I use this pedalboard in my band BLACKMENT with a 6-string Jackson custom RR. So the presets are a bit rock n roll than pure metal. But I wanted to showcase some of my gear which I'm somehow proud of - I started building my first pedalboard in 2014 and at some point I got this idea of having amp stages integrated in the board, so I could go playing shows with having board case in one hand and guitar case in another. I do own a Mooer Baby Bomb as power amp for cab, but my newest addition TO MY COLLECTION from Two Notes (Torpedo) provides me an output straight into FOH. So, bye bye cab microphone stands!

I've been playing this Raato custom Voyager 7 for four years now. I haven't needed any repairing, but I got my volume knob modified into push-kill switch, which is kinda like whammy bar: No idea how to use properly it but will use it as much as I can, hah. Overall it's just an epic axe. Sorry for oldie strings though, I've been lazy. Gonna hit studio for new Re-Armed songs soon @ReArmedOfficial

The video is naked without any backing tracks, but seems like the sounds as itself doesn't sound as pleasing as compared to every other Youtube guitarist. But this is a new area I'm starting to get into, so I think I'm alright. Oh, and I just put double recording on and repeated specific parts of songs until I got some decent takes. At least it will be honest audio playback.

Hit me up if you have any questions, I'm happy to nerd up guitar stuff!

*PRESET CHANGING WILL CUT YOUR AUDIO FOR MILLISECONDS*
Basically I have my loop controller Boss ES-5 just after my preamp Iridium, and while Iridium is MIDI cc compatible, I find preset managing pretty practical. There is this one downside though when changing preset. There will be very minimal but noticeable cut in the signal. I solved it by having presets 2 and 3 NOT sending MIDI cc to the Iridium. So, for example when I play with rhythm distortion (preset 1) and there will be a lead/solo part coming up, I will kick my preset 3 on, which will only activate delay and EQ pedal for a solo boost. And when I have to switch back to plain, dry rhythm distortion, I will hit preset 2, which doesn't have any loops on, but still doesn't cut my audio since I'm not sending MIDI cc's.
