The main tourist flow to Pamporovo is during the winter months, because the resort is adapted mainly for skiing. Almost all the ski slopes in the resort start from Mount Snezhanka, their altitude ranges from 1926 m to 1400 m. The tourist season starts in December and lasts almost until the end of April.

Because of the beautiful scenery, the area is also visited by tourists during the summer months. Mount Snezhanka is among the Hundred National Tourist Sites of the Bulgarian Tourist Union. The seal is in the Studenets hut.

Since 2012, a specialized park for mountain biking has been functioning on the territory of Pamporovo resort and today it is the largest in the Balkans. The Pamporovo Bike Park hosts annual international competitions of the highest class, and the resort has hosted the European Championships in downhill and 4X disciplines in 2013, the Balkan Championships in the Olympic discipline of cross-country and a round of the World 4X Series "4X Pro Tour" in 2014. Today, the Mechi Chal area is also open and so the bike park has over 50 km of trails and mountain biking routes for all ages and people of different abilities.
