The CRAFTSMAN V20 RP 20 Volt 1/4" Variable Speed Brushless Impact Driver is a single-speed impact driver with a variable speed trigger. That means many will have to have some control when using this tool so you do not break bits. The CRAFTSMAN V20 RP 20 Volt 1/4" Variable Speed Brushless Impact Driver delivers 1,500 in-lb of torque, 2,800 RPMs and 3,500 IPMs. Not horrible specs, but not one I would recommend for Lug Nut Removal.

We compare the Craftsman to the Dewalt Atomic model and an older Hitachi (Metabo HPT) Tripple Hammer. The Craftsman was last in the lag drive, but it is also much more affordable than the others we compared it to.

This is still a good impact driver even though it lags a bit behind the others. The variable speed trigger allows for smooth use and it is easy to back off and not over-tighten.

Watch for sales and do not be afraid of this Impact Driver!
