GoolRC TG-3 (Austar AX-5S): Compact, Simple & Affordable! 25$ Cheap RC Transmitter!

Looking for a compact, simple and cheap RC transmitter & receiver with 2.4 GHz, 3 channels, throttle limit and affordable extra receivers?

We where and now we're trying out the GoolRC TG-3 (Austar AX-5S) cheap RC transmitter and receiver to see if it holds up to it's promises. Last season it did quite well in a complete GoolRC electronics set-up so this year we're trying more transmitters and receivers out in even more set-ups.

At the time of this video, the GoolRC TG-3 and Austar AX-5S has been seen selling for approx 20$ to 30$ (and more) on eBay. A quick search on the item in the eBay store should provide you with plenty of option for the best prices and sellers.

So far I've encountered one issue when trying to set it up together with a Tamiya TBLE-01S brushless ESC (video coming up). In the process the fan on the ESC went silent. Still not sure if it was the receiver or anything else that caused the problem, so we're gonna continue testing the TG-3 out. You can check out the video from today on Nordic Hobby Visions to see one of it's first use.
