2025 VW Tiguan R - FIRST LOOK at the New Hot SUV: Maybe the First R-Hybrid?

This is everything we know about upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan R 2025 design, techs and specs.

Currently the most powerful Volkswagen Tiguan for the new generation has 268 HP. It's a hybrid with 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor. But later this year or in 2025 we are waiting for the new Tiguan R model. It could receive even more powerful Hybrid powertrain with up to 400 HP or just 2-liter turbo engine with 329 HP from the latest Golf R. Both should allow to accelerate 0-100 km per hour or 0-60mph in less than 4.8 seconds. As for the design, it is expected to receive more aggressive front bumper, larger wheels and a four-pipe sports exhaust system.
