I was browsing ModDB in my spare time (as one does) when I thought of seeing what were the first portal mods released on the site. Along with other mods I expected down there like Portal: Prelude, I saw this little thing. It immediately caught my eye because of two facts:

1. It appears to be the first released mod for Portal on the website.
2. It has time travel!

That sounded interesting! Unfortunately, it was a bit of a hassle to load and there were no existing videos of it on youtube. So, here is mine! I'm only 14 years late but who's counting.

Before we go on, I wanted to make a shout-out to the original creator of this mod, who went by the ModDB username vrogojin. I also wanted to thank the commenters on the original ModDB page that found links to this mod, I wouldn't have been able to get it working without them!

So, I saw on ModDB that some people were having trouble downloading this mod, so I will put a quick explainer down here.

1. First, go to the comments section of the ModDB page. The first comment there has a link to a ZIP file containing the game.

2. Unzip the file on your computer and place it in steam/steamapps/sourcemods

3. Now, go into the game's file and open up gameinfo.txt

4. I searched up a site to update this file myself, but you can directly copy what is below for convenience.

Place it into the gameinfo.txt file, inside the brackets below "SearchPaths." Delete what was initially there

5. Save your edits and open up Steam. The mod should be in your library. If it isn't, go into the menu up at the top left and click 'exit.' Then, open Steam back up.

That's it! The game should work now.
