Trying Red Nails Without Red Gel Polish | Nail Experiment 💅 🧪

I wanted to paint my nails red, but I realized I don’t have any red gel polish—so I decided to experiment! In this video, I’m applying a gel base coat, then a layer of regular red nail polish, and sealing it with a gel top coat. Basically, I’m creating a "nail polish sandwich" to see how well it holds up.

After filming, I did a bit more research and found that many people recommend skipping the gel base coat altogether. Instead, they suggest applying regular polish directly to the natural nail and finishing with a gel top coat for better longevity. I haven’t tried that method yet, but I’m curious to see the difference!
