DIY Sun Funnel - Safe Solar Eclipse Viewer

Описание к видео DIY Sun Funnel - Safe Solar Eclipse Viewer

A sun funnel is a quick and easy way for a group of people to see a live image of the sun together. It acts as a projector, and fits right over the eyepiece of many telescopes. Bill built one for free, using junk that was hanging around the workshop, for the upcoming North American solar eclipse on August 21, 2017. The instructions used were from a PDF provided by NASA.

Using nothing more than a bed sheet, a piece of plastic, a small chunk of plywood, duct tape, and a hose clamp, he succeeded in projecting an image of the sun onto a screen large enough for a few people to view at once.
