Speaker 1: Today, we're gonna take a look at the Dexter E-Coat Disc Brake Assembly. It has a 12 and a quarter inch rotor with the eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern for 8000 pound axles. Now this brake assembly will fit 8000 pound axles with the Never Lube spindles, and 16 to 17 inch wheels. And this assembly can be mounted on either side of your trailer.The kit will include everything shown here on the table. The E-coated rotor, the E-coated ductile iron caliper with all the hardware, the two semi-metallic brake pads, the E-coated caliper mounting bracket with the bolts and nuts, even some thread sealant to install on all your bolts, and the remaining installation hardware.Now, this trailer brake assembly will work with a disc brake hub that we do sell separately on our website, to upgrade from drum brake to disc brakes for better performance. This will give you more consistent stopping, even at highway speeds, and gives you dramatically shorter stopping distances, and they're even easier and less expensive to maintain.All these parts have a nice E-coat finish on them, which provide corrosion resistance for freshwater and limited saltwater use.

A vented rotor, you can see right here. This will help regulate temperature to prevent overheating. The self-adjusting caliper ensures matching surface contact for a nice smooth, equal braking. And the semi-metallic brake pads will resist heat and provide excellent grip. The mounting bracket over here is made of a ductile iron to provide strength and durability, and they do also over a weld-on flange.

We do sell that separately if you'd like to weld it on.Now, it does require hydraulic brake actuator and brake lines. We do sell those separately on our website. And that's required for the brakes to be activated. And it will require a PSI rating of at least 1600 PSI. These parts are all made in the USA.

A few specs again, this is designed to fit an 8000 lb axle with Dexter Never Lube spindles. The wheel sizes that will work are 16 inch, 16 and a half, and 17 inch. And again, it can be used as either left hand driver's side or right hand passenger side. The bolt pattern is an eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern. Diameter on this rotor is 12 and a quarter inches.

And on the mounting bracket, you can see it's designed for a four bolt brake flange configuration.But that should do it for the review on the Dexter E-Coat Disc Brake Assembly 12 and a quarter inch rotor with the eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern for 8000 pound axles.
