How to use Oxley Hughes’ microplates with existing microplate automation:
1. Pipette tip from automation, such as the microplate washer, is introduced to the guide in the well wall.
2. Pipette tip is lowered down the guide to the contact point. See how the pipette tip stops at a point keeping it away from the science.
3. Remove the solution from the well. The pipette tip remains in place above science while the solution is removed.
4. Gently add solution onto the side opposite to the guide using the dispensing tip.
Benefits of using Oxley Hughes’ microplates:
