The Cuckoo Waltz

Описание к видео The Cuckoo Waltz

This waltz was first popularized by 1950s Hammond artist Ken Griffin. It's an interesting and not overly difficult waltz to play, but is has a few somewhat challenging sections. Originally I think it was written primarily in the key of C, but I have transposed it to Bb because I think it sounds nicer in that key, and then I played the very last part a half step higher, in B natural, because I think half-step-up key changes add a lot of listener interest, and although some of my fellow keyboard musicians might disagree, I think the fingering for G, D, A, E, B and F# actually makes many songs easier to play. Try it and see what you think. The HAMMOND Guy. And Thanks for watching!
