M/S of a man in an old-fashioned army uniform firing a musket. Various shots of army memorabilia at the National Army Museum; lots of rifles, pistols, general firearms. A woman works on restoring an old tattered flag, cleaning it with a water spray; other flags and pennants are seen. Two men are kitted out in the uniforms of the 12th and 13th Lancers respectively. These two men are seen looking at the Sutlej Gun, captured from tribesmen during the Sikh Wars.



A man shows some model soldiers to a boy in Army cadet uniform. Other pieces of paraphernalia: a battery struck by a bullet in France in 1916; crockery and cutlery from a field canteen in Wellington's army; the skeleton of Napoleon Bonaparte's horse, Marengo; a leather football used by the East Surrey regiment in 1916; military paintings.
