Описание к видео Islam - World Religions Series, Session 7

Islam began in the 7th century AD and is the youngest of the major religions and the second-largest globally. The word Islam means submission, and the God to whom Muslims submit is called Allah. Muhammad is Islam’s founder, claiming to have received revelations from the angel Gabriel. The two most prominent groups of Muslims today are the Sunnis and the Shiites. Sharia law rules every aspect of a Muslim’s life.
