It took around a day to get this because I was stubbornly trying to beat it with one generic set from beginning to end. Unfortunately I only have the last 3 minutes, but my eventual plan was to sleep bomb him twice with an LBG setup, and then die twice with fortify while trying to get wallbangs. Then I would go back into the arena with Ghillie on, and do the canons and attack his head, which should be phase 1 over with. After that it's just a case of doing the fight with a very defensive set (Fire resist, DB5, stun resist). If you can get to phase 3 within 12-15 minutes you should be primed to beat the clock providing you use the dragonator correctly and both binders for head damage.

It's a tough fight, but the only difficulty is the timer DPS check, which I think is a bit lame, but ultimately it teaches you to fully optimize how you do the fight, which was a lot of fun to figure out. I didn't struggle as much with this as Alatreon, because the chance of failure there seemed higher. With 5 faints, Safeguard and Palico revive, there's no real reason to cart out to this. It's just a battle against the clock
