Appointment of Professor Elizabeth Churchill as Department Chair of Human-Computer Interaction

Renowned global UX expert Professor Elizabeth Churchill joins #MBZUAI as Department Chair of Human-Computer Interaction (#HCI) and Professor of HCI.

She will lead the establishment of our newest department and brings vast academic and industry experience in the fields of HCI, #AI, psychology, and cognitive science. Most recently, she served as the Senior Director of UX at #Google, leading development teams and creating innovative end-user applications.

Professor Churchill is the first female department chair at MBZUAI, and her appointment underscores our commitment to attracting world-class talent and excellence in AI education and research.
