Craft Ideas: David Dances before the Lord

The story of David’s joyful dance might seem tricky for young kids, given some of the details, but it provides some valuable lessons. We often worry about appearances or what others will think of us, when God’s opinion is the one that matters. We can worship Him in a variety of ways, and should never be afraid to do so. These crafts celebrate 2 Samuel 6. A “Dancing David Puppet” brings the story to life and recalls David’s movement. A “Joyful Tambourine” makes music for worship unto God. Let’s get crafty!
