Adam Hughes is a musician, composer, producer, and educator with experience across multiple genres, including rock, jazz, metal, musical theater, and funk, just to name a few. As a lifelong multi-instrumentalist, Adam brings years of experience playing guitar, bass, piano, drums, saxophone, and trumpet to each lesson, offering a uniquely informed perspective on music and practice. He holds a Master’s degree in Music Composition from California State University, East Bay, as well as BA and AA degrees in music.

Adam’s rich understanding of music history and the many cultures that shape music today adds depth to his approach, blending technical skill-building with respect for the diverse roots of each genre. Above all, Adam believes that learning music should be fun, exciting, and inspiring – and his students couldn’t agree more! His energy and dedication make him not only a talented instructor but also a supportive mentor and your biggest cheerleader as you discover your musical path.
