SADDLE REPAIR - Replacing A PADDED SEAT

This western saddle repair is NOT for the faint of heart. lol To do this project all by hand requires patience, time and a little know how of the saddle and how it is put together. Hopefully by the end of this video you will have the knowledge to do the repair yourself.
If you do this all by hand as I did, I suggest purchasing a few packages of #0 or #1 harness needles as you will break a few.

Tools you will need for this project are; (Most can be purchased on The Leather Lady, LLC website).
Knife of some sort - blades very sharp and if a utility knife change blades out to keep sharp
Awl
Needle Nose Plyers
Jewelers plyers
Sandpaper - medium or finer grade
Leather for seat covering
Foam - this saddle used 3/4" foam (if you can use high density foam .. is best)
Harness Needles- (if by hand) size #0 or #1million
Thread- I used nylon coated - White for Cantle and Black for sides
Barge Glue
