How To Draft a Beginner Friendly Basic Pattern set |

Описание к видео How To Draft a Beginner Friendly Basic Pattern set |

Hey Beautiful people! In today’s tutorial I drafted a basic pattern set, which includes the front and back #bodicepattern, and the front and back #skirtpattern. I attached images of body measurements to be taken as well.

These patterns can be adapted into any design if one or a combination of these three flat pattern techniques is used; dart manipulation, adding fullness and contouring.

The patterns will be used frequently in my videos, so I thought it would be a great idea to make this video incase anyone wanted to sew along.

I also included the process of transferring contour guidelines onto the front and back bodice patterns. The purpose of the #contourguidelines is to indicate the amount of excess to be removed from style lines or darts for a closer fit.
