President Trump says he feels “very badly” about Israel’s strike on Hamas leaders in Qatar, which killed five members including the son of exiled Hamas chief Khalil al-Hayya. The White House confirmed Trump ordered envoy Steve Witkoff to warn Qatar before the attack.
