Subtle Forms of Sexual Harassment

Not every form of sexual harassment is as obvious as asking for sex. There subtle things that while individually relatively minor and maybe even harmless if done once or twice, can combine to create a hostile workplace. In this video I talk about how managers and small business owners can look for subtle hints and small behaviors that may be making an employee or a small group of employees increasingly uncomfortable and feeling harassed or discriminated against. The hostile workplace claims often go unreported because it is not obvious and maybe dispersed against several different employees who may or may not have decided to act in concert.

But just because it is subtle doesn't mean it is not serious. It is just as bad, and maybe even worse, as an overt act of harassment.
