The House Bounders Club - Feature Artist: Mic Murphy

Having admiration for Sting, Andy Summers, and Stewart Copeland, two mates (Phil and Raff) thought that would be a good place to start and threw themselves into the deep end wanting to play some classics by ‘The Police’. Reflecting back to years ago when Raff played in an outfit with another mate (Mic Murphy) who also was a big fan of ‘Sting’ and ‘The Police,’ he recalled jamming over some of their tunes. A reconnection after some years and the three were on the same page. The trio recorded their parts individually then put together a few tunes. Albeit, in separate towns spread along the Surf Coast of Rural Victoria. Some months have passed and restrictions have eased and it has been great to actually jam on these tune(s) in the same room, face to face – socially distancing of course.
