Wooden Chest

This is my version of a wooden worm bin for composting. It still lacks air holes as well as drainage holes. Before I drill the latter I want to see if the any excess fluids may drain through the gaps in between the boards.
The box features two chambers which a separated by a penetrable screen. Once one side is full one starts putting the scraps into the empty chamber. The worms will move over to where they find food, leaving the castings worm-free to be removed.

I am not sure if a wooden box is the best way to do this, I never did worm composting before. I'd like better to look at a wooden box than a plastic one I guess ;).
