I've made the original video of crocheted Flash lightning a few years ago in Spanish, I have translated it into English because I have been asked.
In this video I show how to crochet a lightning to apply on a crochet Flash hat. I use 9 different stitches (slip knot, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, extended double crochet, treble or triple crochet, slip stitch and picot) but even for beginners I think it's very easy to follow.
