This week I continue my journey to ultra lightweight camping and take my Lanshan 2 tent and Quidian 2 backpack up Grindsbrook onto Kinder Scout.
Having a phone signal was particularly important this week, and once I had used the seven minute crossing the 5g signal was very poor. I walked along the Northern Edge towards Mad Woman's Stones, but the signal didnt improve so I cut across Edale Moor to the trig point and then on to Ringing Roger.
I didn't do much filming when I got there, and the phone rang just after midnight to say we had a new grandson, everything was OK and mother and baby were doing well!
