Android 12 is coming really soon and all the brands are getting ready to roll out an update based on Android 12. So Xiaomi is coming with MIUI 13, Samsung is coming with their next version of OneUI and now, OnePlus is also working on their next update which will be Oxygen OS 12. Now, OxygenOS is hands down my favorite android custom skin so far. Its very smooth and fluid, gives us stock experience and also comes with its own customization option.

OnePlus is very consistent with its updates and now its time for Oxygen OS 12. So talking about the changes, lets start with some minor changes and then move towards all the big changes. So the new oxygen OS 12 will feature new type of dark mode which will apply a new black theme all across your smartphone. As all the OnePlus smartphones come with AMOLED display panels, you will get really deep blacks. Additionally, this new dark mode will save your battery.

Another new feature will let you check the FPS count while you are gaming. Its a very minor feature, but is very helpful for reviewers and testers. The next feature is some sort of aggressive power saving mode. Turning this mode on will switch the refresh rate to lowest possible value. It will apply dark theme automatically and will close almost all the background processes.
