Chena Hot Springs DITL TRUCK CAMPING ALASKA

Chena Hot Springs is a must when in Alaska! It is a natural hot spring only one hour away from Fairbanks. It's like being in a hot tub without all the chemicals. Super relaxing! Just what we needed after driving the Alaska Highway and before we head out on our next epic adventure.
The only other hot spring we've ever been to was the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. So that is what we had to compare it with, but they are so different, not really comparable. We had a great time here too.
There are a bunch of pull-offs on the river off the Chena Hot Springs Rd. So we had beautiful river spots while in the area.
We make a matcha latte and some sandwiches for lunch after Chena Hot Springs. Just a regular day in the life in Alaska 😊
