Imam Khomeini International Airport, also known as IKIA for short, is actually a replacement for international flights at Mehrabad International Airport.
This airport is located 30 km away from Tehran. With the opening of this airport, all international flights were transferred from Mehrabad to Imam Khomeini Airport.

Inside Imam Khomeini Airport, there is a five-star hotel called the Roxan Hotel and a four-star hotel called the Ramis Hotel, which have been operating since 2016. These hotels were built by the French Accor Hotel Group on 7 floors.

To go to Imam Khomeini International Airport outside the city, you can use the following methods:
Taxi
Metro : Line 8 of Tehran Metro to Imam Airport
Bus : Special buses of Imam Khomeini Airport also depart from Terminal 4 of Mehrabad Airport every hour.
