At Nature's Cradle Nursery, the first step in our landscape development process is a consultation. Our consultations include a 30-60 minute visit at your property with one of our designers to discuss what you’re looking for, as well as a follow up consultation report which includes between 2 and 4 illustrative sketches, plant suggestions, maintenance recommendations, and any requested plant identification.

These consultations are $475. The consultation planting ideas and illustrations in the report represent a broad stroke of what possibilities exist for the landscape, and begin an ongoing dialogue. Based on the scope of work, your designer will discuss with you the cost of design hours necessary to create design plans and furnish planting and/or hardscaping estimates.

The consultation fee can be applied toward your final bill if any portion of the project laid out in the consultation report (excluding additional design hours) is completed in its entirety within 6 months of the consultation, and if the $475 does not exceed 10% of the project total before tax (i.e. project totals $4,750 or greater). Half of the consultation fee can be applied toward your final bill if any part of the project laid out in the consultation report is completed in its entirety within one year of the consultation, and if the $237.50 does not exceed 10% of the project total before tax.
