I just found a video that explains the OS installation process on an NVMe SSD that isn't already configured for the iMac.

This issue is of concern to farmers especially as their equipment runs on proprietary software and the companies won't release the schematics that would allow owners to fix problems quickly, easily and for a lower cost.
So they're forced to buy hacked software from Russia.
In that way it's a matter of National security. (But people are dumb and companies impose themselves for the sake of their own power and profit - I suggest we have capitalism with some restrictions not communism).
